Daveena has always loved jewelry. As a teenager, she decided that she would like to learn to create her own designs. She took her first class in 1966 at a local college under the direction of Zella Marggraf.
Falling in love with the art form was easy because of the both mechanical and creative challenges. Daveena acquired a real understanding of high quality production when she was hired, in 1967 by Harold Fithian. Subsequently, she became production manager for his company, Fithian Inc., until his tragic demise in 1972.
Since then, she has chosen to do custom by appointment goldsmithing which has given a much more personal touch to the process.
Each piece is made specifically made for someone who appreciates one of the most luxurious expressions in creativity-a hand made creation of precious metal and gems.
Daveena celebrates over 50 years in this art form.
Daveena's Garden
Daveena Limonick has spent the last 29 years developing her skill for landscaping. At first, she gardened purely for her own enjoyment. Her first garden became the place where she could test plant material and get to know the growth habits and tolerances of many plants.
Daveena is a designer in numerous disciplines and she integrates her innate sense of design with gardening. This combined with her knowledge of plant material and various hard surfaces have made it possible for her to create many different kinds of gardens for the pleasure and enjoyment of her very diversified clientele. Working primarily with perennials, shrubbery, and roses, daveena integrates her garden carefully with the surrounding architecture. This creates the feeling that one flows from house to garden harmoniously, and seamlessly.
Children's Watercolor Artwork
In 1982 when we had our first child, I felt another creative wave coming. I wanted to make something for my child. A piece of art for his room that he could always keep. I visualized a new genre, for me, of line drawing with watercolor and I started drawing.
The premise is that there is a little dream land for a child with the child’s name in the painting. Thus, my children's watercolors were conceived.
Some wanted houses, different style houses. Some wanted scenes. So behold the collection.
I make these pieces of art to blend with the child’s environment. Color schemes can be chosen.
Wonderful birth and birthday gifts, that can be kept forever. Allow 4 weeks for delivery.
Available for $150.00 each - including framing and custom colors. $20.00 for shipping and handling. Painting in their mats are 11”x14”.
SINCE I WAS A YOUNGSTER, I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED SEWING AND MAKING MY OWN CLOTHES AND COSTUMES. MY MOTHER INTRODUCED ME TO THE ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES. HERE ARE SOME OF THE “JUST FOR FUN” CREATIONS I’VE MADE ALONG THE WAY.
